The instrumentalized gait analysis allows detailed insight into the movement of a patient. The lower extremities as well as the torso all the way to the upper cervical spine are analyzed. The patient is filmed and with the help of slow motion all joints are examined. Deviations are put into context with the complaints of the patients and then treated. This way an instable knee can be revealed in action: during every-day life the knee is pain-free, but can be responsible for pain in the Achilles tendon. The advantage of the instrumentalized gait analysis is the visual feedback for the patient, who can then better relate to the causal relationships of the therapy. Yielded progress can then not only be witnessed with the reduction of pain, but in an improved gait.
