IN BASEL, FOR BASEL
Traditionally professional
in marktgasse since 50 years
Physiotherapie zur Schifflaendi in Basel has a long standing tradition which we are now continuing. Here’s a little summary of what we know about this and what we could recover.
Originally in 1968, about 50 years ago, a gentleman started his Krankengymnastik Praxis” at Marktgasse 3 in Grossbasel, exactly in front of today’s tram station “zur Schiffländle” and treated many patients from Basel and its surroundings. Back then the Physiotherapie zur Schfflaendi had a big movement pool and barred pool.
1995 at the age of 73 years, he passed on the practice to a young and motivated successor, our predecessor. After substantial renovations she started her business, now without the pools. She treated many different ailments of patients over the years, just like her predecessor.
Neck pain, back pain and shoulder pain, jaw joint pain. Knee and hip prostheses were not seen often in these times. 25 years have passed in Grossbasel, and the Praxis für Physiotherapie zu Schifflaendi is picking up pace once more, as she passes into the ownership of two new and motivated physiotherapists. We are maintaining the current offer of services and will increase our training area during 2020 in order to offer our clients more attractive physiotherapy.
We are pleased to continue this tradition.
